Committee Signup

Committee Application Instructions:

General: Unless otherwise stated in the Bylaws, the term of committee service is one year. Some committees, e.g., Legal Resources, MLS, Grievance, and Professional Standards, require a level of practical experience as a REALTOR®.

  1. Review your “Member Contact Information” for accuracy. If any information is not accurate, please correct it by clicking on “Edit” under “Action.” A separate screen comes up, and you make changes in the fields that you want to change.
  2. For a description of the committee, mouse over the committee’s name.
  3. You can apply for a maximum of 3 committees.
  4. [Note: Under “Positions” are “Total” and “Filled.” “Total” is the total number of members for that committee. “Filled” is the number of members appointed to the committee on the date this page was accessed.]
  5. [Note: If “Status” is OPEN the committee is accepting applications. If STATUS is NO OPEN SEATS, the committee is full and applications are not being accepted.]
  6. [Note: “Term” is the term of the service. Most committees have 1-year terms; however, Grievance and Professional Standards have 3-year terms. If you are in a 3-year term on either of those committees, you do not need to apply for that committee.]
  7. When you’ve selected your committee(s), click the “Review/Submit” button. After reviewing your choices, click submit. Your application will automatically be emailed to you, using the email address that is on the application.
  8. You will be notified by email if you’ve been appointed or not appointed to serve on the committee(s) you selected.
